Outreach

O&EM offers a range of activity based and supportive social groups. This department encourages ministries that reach out to people in the community around us.

Occasional Parenting Workshops and topical interest forums are presented. The main groups and activites are listed here, make sure you scroll down to the bottom to see them all!

Book Club
For women, meets in private homes to discuss the book chosen for that month.
A variety of books are chosen; some needing to be purchased by the group. New members are always welcome.

Encourages individual projects as well as learning card making. Fortnightly on Friday mornings at the church.

Dorothy's Groups:

  • Ladies' Shared Lunch first Sunday of each month in private homes. Bring a plate to share.
  • Monthly Card & Games Night for women. Saturdays in private home. Phone for next date and venue.
  • Ladies' Breakfast on Saturday at Dorothy's late summer and spring. Tickets must be pre-purchased.

Meets quarterly, Saturday mornings. Includes floral gifts for Mothers' Day and Gingerbread House Workshop (Bookings essential).

Quilting Group
Individual projects and occasional projects for charity. Offers a friendly environment to learn new skills so beginners are more than welcome to join in the fun.

10.00am at the church on 2nd, 4th and 5th Thursdays of the month. Coffee, chat and favourite hymns to sing. All are welcome.

Soup in Winter
Free delicious homemade soup and bread on Thursdays 6.00pm to 7.30pm beginning in June until last Thursday in August. Enjoy the food and company. Open to all.
