About Children's Ministry

We here at Hope Valley Uniting Church are passionate about God’s children. We desire to see children come to know and experience the deep love that God has for them; to respond to God with their lives and bring others to do the same!

At Hope Valley our vision for children’s ministry is to:
‘Develop a lively, growing, relevant ministry in which children come to know Jesus Christ, respond to him and become equipped to reach out and care for others.’ (Psalm 78:4)

We are firmly committed to teaching children the ways of the Lord and encouraging them to develop their relationship with God, so that they will spend their whole lives living for Him and proclaiming His love to others. To accomplish this, we emphasise strong Biblical teaching, deep caring relationships, the value of prayer and we always point children first and foremost towards Jesus Christ.

Children's programs and events include:-

Tiny Tots (Sunday mornings for children 0-2 years)
Stepping Stones (Sunday mornings for Children aged 3 - 12)
Jump 'n' Play Playgroup (Wednesday mornings during school terms)
Jump 'n' JAM Playgroup (Thursday mornings during school terms)
BLOOM & BLAST (a monthly Kid's Club for Primary aged children)
KCO (Kid's Camp Out - an overnight camp in March)
