We here at Hope Valley Uniting Church are passionate about God’s children. We desire to see children come to know and experience the deep love that God has for them; to respond to God with their lives and bring others to do the same!

 At Hope Valley our vision for children’s ministry is to:
‘Develop a lively, growing, relevant ministry in which children come to know Jesus Christ, respond to him and become equipped to reach out and care for others.’ (Psalm 78:4)


We are firmly committed to teaching children the ways of the Lord and encouraging them to develop their relationship with God, so that they will spend their whole lives living for Him and proclaiming His love to others. To accomplish this, we emphasise strong Biblical teaching, deep caring relationships, the value of prayer and we always point children first and foremost towards Jesus Christ.

Games - The internet can be a great thing and a dangerous thing at the same time, particularly for kids. So we've gone to the "hard work" of finding some good safe games for kids.

So how can you be involved?

Stepping Stones

Stepping stones is a part of 10:30am Sunday service. At Stepping Stones we always have fun. Stepping stones is an exciting time for children to come along and build friendships, their faith in Christ and have a blast in the process. We have singing, dancing, stories, games and small groups where we learn more about Christ and have a whole heap of fun in the process. So come along for a fun filled adventure.

Jump Out

Jump Out is an exciting 3 hours of fun and excitement where we have bouncy castles, crafts, games, Xbox, crazy hair and much, much more. This is a time where you can come and have a lot of fun and hear an amazing message about our Saviour Jesus Christ. Our next Jump Out is scheduled for October 2008, stay tuned for more details.
